Food Corporation of India (FCI) setup in 1964 is responsible for effective distribution of food grains through PDS across India & also ensures food security through various measures.FCI has announced recruitment of 1600 Management Trainee posts for 5 zones.

Post –  Management Trainee

Vacancies (various depts.) - North Zone:  300 posts

South Zone: 59 posts

East Zone: 99 posts

West Zone: 115 posts

North-East Zone:  33 posts

Payscale: Rs.16400-40500

Dates: Online applications – 15.1.2011 to 14.2.2011 (for East & North-East zones)

22.1.2011 to 21.2.2011 (for West,North & South zones)

Written examination – during April, May 2011

Post	Education	Max age, as on 1.1.2011
Management Trainee (General,Depot,Movement)	* PG degree/diploma (full  time) or  3 yrs part time in Business Management/ Industrial Relations/ MCA,as on 1.1.2011	28 yrs
Management Trainee (Account)	* CA/ AICWA/ ACWA/ MBA (finance) from a recog. university, as on 1.1.2011	28 yrs

Selection : The selection process involves Written test, GD & Interview.The written test will have 90 objective type questions from Data analysis, Reasoning, Computer awareness, General awareness, Management and Current Affairs.Those with minimumcut-off of 50% would be called for GD & Interview in the ratio of 1:5

Application: Rs.300 has to be paid by DD favoring Food Corporation of India & payable at centres given in the notice.There is no fee for SC/ ST/ PH candidates, but must submit necessary certificates.Applications are to be made through the FCI website & printout should be sent along with DD,documents to the mentioned address by Feb 28for East, North East zone & Mar 8 for North, West & South zone.
