Haryana Gramin Bank (HGB) formed in 2005 is a result of the merging of four other rural banks.Sponsored by Punjab national bank, HGB is operating in Haryana through 211 branches spread across 16 districts. Haryana Gramin Bank has announced recruitment for Officers & Office Assistants


Eligibility for Officer posts -
* Above 18 & below 28 yrs, as on 5.02.2011
* Candidate from any part of India is eligible to apply
* Should possess a degree from a recognized university, as on 5.02.2011
* Must be proficient in Hindi language

for office assistant posts – * Age between 18 – 28yrs , as on 05.02.2011
* Pass in degree from a recog. university as on 05.02.2011
* Proficiency in Hindi language is required.
* Must be resident of Haryana
* Thought not compulsory, computer knowledge is desirable


Posts – Vacancies - Payscale:
1) Officer (scale I) – 53 posts – Rs.22141 /month
2) Office Assistant – 56 posts – Rs.12256 /month

Dates: Online applications – 8.02.2011 to 10.03.2011
Written test for Officer posts – 29.5.2011 || Assistant – 22.5.2011




Application: Fees of Rs.300(Gen/OBC) or Rs.50(SC/ST) for office assistant & Rs.500 (Gen/OBC) or Rs.50 (SC/ST) for Officers have to paid using the challan at any branch of Haryana Gramin Bank or Punjab National Bank before March 10.After payment, the online application has to be submitted with the necessary details.The printout of this application should not be sent by post.
