Andhra Bank is one of the largest public sector bank in India. This time they have issued a notification to recruit Probationary Officers. But not one thing you can apply only if you have valid score card passed Sep. 2011 PO common written examination. Other eligibility criteria and important dates are given below.

What is the eligibility criteria to apply?

Your age should be between 21 years to 29 yeas as on 31st July, 2012
- Relaxation (SC/ST -> 5 years)
- OBC -> 3 years
- Person Disability -> 10 Years

You must have graduate degree or equivalent qualification having minimum 60% marks

You must have passed September, 2011 PO common written examination conduct by IBPS and having a original valid score card

Which dates are important for me to remember?

The most important date to remember is closing date i.e. 14th Aug, 2012. The other dates are given below:

The application starts from 30th July, 2012 to 14th Aug, 2012

The payment of fee starts from 30th July, 2012 to 16th Aug, 2012

First of All, you must have valid email id and remember the password.

Download the challan to pay fee and printout it

The fee is Rs. 100 and for PWD/SC/ST -> Rs.25

What is the selection Procedure?

After the selection of candidates they will go through the 9 months course at Manipal University, Bangalore campus with 3 month internship programme. After completion of the course they will be award the “Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance” and get selection for the job at any branch of Andhra Bank.

Now, They are eligible for all the benefits of an employee like salary, DA, accommodation, HRA etc. But note that the course fee will be paid by the candidate i.e. Rs.3.30 lacs. However there are beneficial option available to pay the fees like installments, education loan etc.
