    There
    has been a significant delay in the announcement of the PO results
    probably because of the RRB exam which kept the authorities busy. The
    date for this exam was 17th June, 2012 and results got declared on 5th
    October,2012. Candidates waited for this result for about 3 months.



    The scores obtained by the candidates in the examination will be available on bank’s website after 10 days.


    Common interviews may be conducted for the selected candidates of IBPS PO-2 held on 17th June, 2012.




    There are lot of rumors going around on various websites that there is a link to see the scores but that is not correct.

    Only 8 % (61000) students passed the 2nd IBPS PO Exam



    A good News is coming for
    all those who have been appeared in the IBPS PO Exam and waiting for
    the results.At last Today, IBPS had announced the must awaited results
    of 2nd Common Written Examination (CWE)  PO/MT Exam 2012.



    How many Passed ?



    Only 8 % students have
    been declared as Qualified in the Written Exam. It is expected that
    close to 7.5 lakh students have appeared in the exam and only 61,339
    candidates have been declared as successful.



    Now these successful
    students will be issued scorecards with a validity of 1 year, based on
    which they are now  eligible to appear for Interviews for Bank Jobs in
    20 Public Sector Banks.








    Govt's Nod to Common Interview for Jobs in Public Sector Banks



    In our previous post, we
    have discussed about that there will be Common Interviews for Bank Jobs
    in India. The News is Official Now and the Government of India, had
    agreed to IBPS's proposal for conducting Common Interviews for Bank Jobs
    in the 20 Nationalized Banks.The New system will be operational with
    immediate effect, this means that IBPS PO-2 Qualifiers are likely to be
    the First One's appear in the Common Bank Interviews, conducted by IBPS
    and not in Individual Bank's Interviews.



    IBPS will be conducting
    Common Interview at different Places and Locations, so as to assist
    Regional Candidates and those belonging to far-flung ares




    Experts in Banking Sector
    are of the view that Common Interviews for Bank Jobs is a good move by
    IBPS, as it will cut down the Multiple Selection of Candidates in Banks,
    for which the IBPS is being criticized, since the IBPS Platform was
    introduced in 2011.








    "It will be a win-win situation for banks and the aspiring candidates,"
    said IBPS director Anup Sankar Bhattacharya. "The hiring process will be
    smooth for banks. On the other hand, candidates will save energy and
    cost as they don't have appear for multiple interviews."
